Chanu Associates is a Manipur-based start-up firm. A brainchild of a young and talented ecopreneur, Ngangom Monalisa Chanu, Chanu Associates, under the brand name 'Chanu' deals with a plethora of products that range from environment friendly pens with seeds, pencils, direct filling pens, paper bags, non-woven bags etc. An environmentalist to the core, Chanu envisaged a unique vision to manufacture eco-friendly products that will simultaneously generate decent revenue to provide sustainable employment to at least a few unemployed job seekers from the region. Her aspiration as an environmentalist stumbled upon her long-cherished desire to become an entrepreneur from the region, breaking all the odds against the patriarchal norms in the society.
