In order to advance the green building movement in the country, Indian Green Building Council (IGBC) is organising its flagship event the Indian Green Building Congress from 6th to 8th of October 2016 at Mumbai, India.
To address the massive increase in demand for resources such as energy and water, the India Green Building Council (IGBC) was formed by CII in 2001. Since then, IGBC has been hosting various events to bring together the various stakeholders of the construction industry.
Over 100 eminent speakers are expected to address around 2,000 delegates at the conference of 14th edition of the Green Building Congress. Architects, interior designers, builders, corporate companies and government agencies are expected to participate in the proceedings with an aim to make India one of the global leaders in sustainable built environment by 2025. Further, there will be a large exhibition of green building products and technologies available in India.
