Punjab Agro Industries Corporation (PAIC), a premier organization of the Punjab Government has been doing outstanding work in the field of project development, contract farming, marketing of quality agricultural inputs, promotion/ assistance in export and distant marketing of Horticulture produce. Punjab Agros, a nodal agency of Punjab Govt. for organic farming, has got about 1200 acres of farmers certified for organic crop cultivation, after following rigorous regime, from SGS India Ltd., a leading global certification agency. The corporation intends to sell wheat produced through organic farming.
